Fix For Small Text On Facebook

Fix For Small Text On Facebook post image

Facebook has once again angered its users by making yet another unannounced and unpopular change. Earlier this week it would appear that the social network giant used a shrink ray on its site thus making the default Facebook font too small for most of its users to read. Fortunately, for Firefox users there is an available  add-on called NoSquint that will allow you to increase Facebook’s font size WITHOUT changing the font size of any other website.

Facebook Small Font Fix

1. Download and install Firefox if you don’t already have it.

2. Install the NoSquint add-on for Firefox. Simple click on the “Add to Firefox” button to do this. Restart Firefox when prompted.

3. Configure NoSquint by clicking on Tools => Add-ons from within Firefox.

4.Click on Options and then on the Zooming tab. Set the Default full page zoom level to 100% and click on OK.

5. Now head on over to Facebook and click on the magnifying glass on the bottom right hand side of Firefox. Set the full zoom level to suite your preferences. I have found that 120% works quite well.

You have now increased Facebook’s font size! NoSquint was written by Jason Tackaberry and a big thank you goes out to him! Chrome users can elect to open up Facebook in a separate browser Tab and use Ctrl + to increase page zoom for THAT browser tab only.
